Total Optimizer Pro Review
After having used PR Prowler for a
number of months we received an email from Shawn at TopNet Solutions
announcing the release of a new SEO tool they had developed called
Total Optimizer Pro. As I had been very pleased with the results
we had attained from "The Prowler" I was more than happy
to review their new software. The pricetag on this software is $247
but like their other software, it comes with a 90 day money-back
guarantee so there wasn't much at stake and our theory is, if it
gives us even an additional 1% advantage over our competition it's
worth the cost.
What Does Total Optimizer Pro Do?
Upon downloading it for review we quickly discovered that what it
will produce is far in excess of a 1% advantage. Able to break down
the top ten for any search term into their keyword densities, backlinks,
the anchor test of the backlinks, the PageRanks of the pages linking
to them and the number of links per site essentiallyl tells us much
of what we will need to do to beat out our competition for any given
keyword phrase.
Admittedly the interface is slightly
more complex with Total Optimizer Pro than with PR Prowler, however
due to the vast information it yields it really couldn't be otherwise.
How Do I Use It?

| Step one is simply entering the keyword phrase you wish to
target. You can analyze by keyword phrase or by URL to get information
on a specific competitor. After you have done this click "Next
>>" |

In step two you choose whether you want to search for link
partners or analyze your competition. Because we use PR Prowler
to look for link partners we generally use Total Optimizer Pro to analyze our competition. You can then choose
which engines you want to analyze them for and the number
of backlinks you want analyzed per site in the top ten (up
to 500 links). Then you click "Next >>".

it pretty much sums it up. It does take a few minutes but what
you get in return would take you many
hours if not weeks to accumulate. |

The first of the results screens that you will recieve
is an analysis of each of the sites in the top ten on each
engine. This analysis will include:
- Their position
- Their PageRank
- Their Alexa rank
- The total number of backlink to their site seen by Google
- The number of their site pages indexed by Google
- Their keyword density for the targeted phrase
- Their title
- Their H1 tag

Scrolling down we will find the Total Optimizer Pro backlink analysis of each of the sites (one-by-one
of course). All the information they give on the backlinks
can't be included in a single screen capture however it includes:
- The backlink URL
- The backlink domain
- The IP address of the backlink
- The PageRank of the backlink from that page
- The specific anchor text use for that backlink (or a note
whether it was an image)
- The title of the page linking back
- The Alexa rating of the page linking back
- The top three keyword focus' of the page linking back
- The number of links pointing to that page
- The number of outbound links from that page

Below the individual analysis of the links
Total Optimizer Pro gives a general summary of them
all. For this test we only ran a report for 10 links (for
speed as we obvioulsy weren't going to display the results
for a campaign we're actively working on). Again, this is
done position by position so you will see different results
for each of the sites in the top 10. This summary includes:
- The specific anchor text, the number of times that anchor
text was used, and the percentage this represents of the
total backlinks counted.
- Where these links come from. For larger runs this will
give you great information as to how many of these links
are coming from the same domain which is generally accepted
in the SEO community as holding less weight than the same
number of links from different domains.
- A PageRank breakdown of all the links.

You can now save the Total Optimizer Pro
results for future use in multiple formats or save the setup
so that you can run the same report after the next update.

It's pretty simple to see exactly how powerful this information
can be. Once you know how your competitor's attained their rankings
it becomes a matter of duplicating and then surpassing their efforts.
