Airport shuttle is offered through an independent vendor, Southern Hospitality, 1-800-406-4949. Prices Begin at $55.00 USD per reservation, please call for prices and reservations. The Bald Head Island passenger ferry departs from Indigo Plantation and Marina to the island every hour on the hour and from the island to Indigo every hour on the half hour except for lunch and dinner hours. Ferry and tram service hours may be extended or shortened depending on the season, call for daily schedule, 910-457-5003. You must make ferry and tram reservations that coordinate with your check-in time by calling 910-457-5003 at the same time you book your accommodations for stays of one week or longer. Please make ferry reservations to leave the island by calling 457-5006 at least one week in advance. For shorter stays, please make ferry reservations to leave the island at the same time you make ferry reservations to come to the island. Tram pick-up times will be assigned at the time you make your ferry reservations. Please make sure luggage is packed, tagged and placed at the end of driveway when your tram arrives. Please arrive at the Indigo Plantation and Marina in Southport at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. For your convenience, drive to the ticketing office and luggage depot before you park your car. Outfitters will help you unload your luggage. Make sure each piece of luggage has a luggage tag. Outfitters cannot take open bags, so please box up any groceries. Additional fees for bikes and cargo may apply. Next, park in lots B, C, or D. Bring your parking ticket.
