VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Our client is one of the premier nightclub, restaurant and bar management groups in the country. Their proven track record is symbolized by marquee venues from coast to coast. Locations include major casinos in Las Vegas and free standing high energy night clubs in New York. Expansion plans this year call for an additional four locations including Atlantic City and Phoenix. Their innate sense of the contemporary market positions them as a leading edge operator, specializing in venue design, DJ selection, and progressive service. Their corporate headquarters are located in Las Vegas NV; where they operate at several of the top casinos on the strip. The Vice President of Finance will assume overall day to day financial reporting and accounting and banking responsibilities for the company. He or she will review financial reports, prepare comments and analysis, prepare budgets and forecasts, forecast cash flow, and ensure contract compliance. This position will interface with capital markets, banking, and audit firms to insure the continued profitable growth of the organization. The successful candidate will have relevant experience in the hospitality industry with five years of financial management experience. He or she will hold an accounting degree and be generally knowledgeable of general and cost accounting. Effective written and oral communications skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines will be required. CPA or MBA preferred but not required.
COMPENSATION: $130-190,000 plus bonus and benefits.


VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RELATIONS

Our client is a mid-size, owner-operated hotel and real estate company that specializes in the development and management of high quality, full service hotels using a variety of franchise brands. The corporate office is located in San Francisco; however, the companies 20+ properties with 4500 guestrooms span 6 time zones throughout the United States and comprise 7 top global brands including Marriott, Sheraton, Hilton, Holiday Inn and Radisson. In addition, the firm has homebuilding operations and real estate investments in California and Arizona.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President of Human Resources will be responsible for effectively planning, developing, and implementing a fully integrated human resources strategy for the company. They will administer a wide variety of human resource programs in support of the company’s objectives and will be responsible for ensuring that the companies comply with all local, state, and federal employment laws, policies and regulations. He or she will also handle employee grievances, coordinate compensation and benefit programs, direct the recruiting effort, establish appropriate training programs, and provide general guidance to the organization on matters of leadership development. DIRECTOR OF BRAND STRATEGY – MANAGER OF BRAND STRATEGY (TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE) MAJOR HOTEL FRANCHISE CORPORATION

Our client is one of the worlds largest hotel corporations with headquarter offices in the Eastern United States. The company features several highly recognizable full service and limited service brands. The current portfolio includes seven brand names and over 5,000 hotel locations worldwide. The company is principally involved in franchising. They have retained us to assist in the identification and recruitment of brand strategy experts to join the companies Brand Strategy and Strategic Planning Division.

The Director of Brand Strategy position is intended to lead the development of brand strategy, to monitor and enhance brand consistency and to enhance franchise sales activity. The successful candidate will manage key brand initiatives including leading cross-functional teams, developing project plans, effectively managing personnel and budgets, and creating support for implementation. The Director of Brand Strategy will evaluate cost effective and efficient means to communicate brand position to consumers. Additionally, the Director will identify measurement tools for the field service team to track hotel progress against the various strategic initiatives. Our client is a hotel management company with over 25 years of successful operation. They operate a newly renovated full service Marriott Hotel located in Ohio. The hotel features over 350 rooms and 15,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel is a top rated hotel within the brand, and is top ten rated by meeting planners within its geographic market area. We are looking for an experienced hotel General Manager with full spectrum operational skills. We are looking for an experienced hotel General Manager with full spectrum operational skills. He or she will have 5-7 years of experience in hotel operations with an emphasis upscale full service experience. BA/BS/CHA is required. Note: The Company would prefer an individual with prior GM experience with an Embassy Suites or Hilton branded product.

The company owns and manages a diverse portfolio of over 30 full service hotels in over 15 states. This position will be located at company headquarters located in the Midwest. The Corporate Revenue Manager will be responsible to oversee the revenue strategy of 30+ hotel properties totaling over 7500 units, providing direction to property level Revenue Management Teams to maximize revenue per available rooms (REVPAR) through the management of room inventories, market mix, pricing strategies and management of Reservation Systems and PMS systems. He or she will evaluate, negotiate and select vendors with consideration of price, quality, delivery and acceptability of items to specifications. The Purchasing Manager will endeavor via strategic planning and evaluation to trim costs and improve efficiencies.

In both cases, we are searching for a Controller to manage all aspects of accounting and internal control for the property. The position will also oversee all accounting functions, purchasing and inventory control, payroll, accounts payable, and budgeting. The Controller will also be a key member of the executive committee and will participate in the overall management of the enterprise.
The successful candidates will be current in all aspects of accounting. We are looking for individuals who can play a key role in providing financial leadership to the enterprise. Strong and progressive inter-personal skills are required. A four-year degree in accounting, finance or a related field is preferred. A minimum three to five years of hospitality-related finance experience is required.

Our client owns and operated a 600+ room deluxe resort located in beautiful Hawaii. The resort generates over $20mm in annual revenue. This position is located on the Island of Oahu.

Our client owns and operates a 300 room commercial hotel with over 17,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel generates over $8mm in annual revenue. This position is located in metro Albuquerque, NM.

CHIEF ENGINEER – 300 ROOM HOTEL – LOS ANGELES

Our client is a 320 room upscale hotel property located in the Los Angeles, CA area. The property is a member of a nationwide chain of upscale hotels located in major cities. The hotel also features a leading restaurant/nightclub. They have requested that we conduct a search for an experienced professional hotel engineer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum three to five years experience at a hotel property in the Southern California area. The successful candidate will be a hands-on working engineer with the ability and inclination to be personally involved. This is a "roll up the sleeves" opportunity for a problem solver.
COMPENSATION: $65,000-80,000 plus benefits.


DIRECTOR OF SALES – THEMED ENTERTAINMENT VENUE –

Our client is a new themed entertainment venue located in Las Vegas with easy access to the strip and downtown. This entertainment venue features a fully air-conditioned Beer Garden that seats up to 430 people. In addition to the party atmosphere of a Bavarian Beer Garden, the venue also offers fine dining for individuals and groups. They are targeting both the local inbound and local group markets for a significant portion of their revenue. In addition to the corporate, incentive and meeting planner segments the venue will also look to the local market for events, weddings, company outings, and specialty groups. The Director of Sales will direct a staff of three sales managers in pursuit of the group and events markets. He or she will be expected to be a top producer of large group business. The successful candidate will have three to seven years experience in event/party/catering sales in the Las Vegas Market.
