A Great Place to go Birding in the Boreal Forests of Northern Ontario Canada

When people think of birding in Canada's Northern Ontario wilderness the Loon usually comes to mind first. And we do have lots of loons and they are one of our most fascinating inhabitants. Our boreal forests are also home to numerous warblers, sparrows, waterfowl and birds of prey.Loon with chick under wing

Other wildlife viewing is excellent also. Since 1925 the only hunting allowed, inside this 3,000 sq mile (7,000 sq km) wildlife preserve, is with a camera. Sightings of Moose and Black Bear are very common.
Our web site contains further information on our resort and area.
