My name is Andy Lim and I am
retired. I have been fishing around Singapore searching for good
angler hotspots since 1980 and I really enjoyed the hobby. I
started fishing at Charcoal Port (Lor. Halus one of my fishing
spots) at that time I was not really keen in fishing and so I
was happy just catching small fish like one spot snapper (Tanda
Tanda) and Gulama.
One day, I was fishing, as usual, with my friends using a
handline for tilapia and I saw people catching big fish like
Barramundi (Siakap) and One
Spot Snapper (Tanda Tanda). I decided to catch either one and
was keen to do so. When I finally caught one, it was like a
spark and from that day on, I was really addicted on fishing. I
usually fish at places like
Lower Seletar Reservoir (Yishun)
Dam (Fishing Hot Spots 7), this where I caught my first
KBL (Barramundi), breakwaters
or reclaimed land around Singapore and I do lure fishing too. I
also go for oversea trips in Malayasia and Indonesia to do
fishing.
This site was created because of the love of the hobby and to
share with people the joy of fishing. If there are any comments
or anything you want to ask me, you can email me.
