Challenge: GoPRN (Performance Racing Network), the media arm of Speedway Motorsports Inc.(SMI), needed a professional internet solution. The radio station needed a backend infrastructure that would allow it to be self-sufficient in content publishing, updating stats and broadcasting radio shows online. GoPRN was looking for a cost-effective solution that would provide it with a professional look, consistent with the SMI’s brand image.
Approach: RMG3 approached these challenges with its powerful proprietary Content Management Tool: 1Touch™, which allows GoPRN to self-publish (with one simple touch) a vast array of content types (text, photos, graphics, and statistical data). The user-friendly 1Touch™ tool generates immediate updates to their site. To insure that GoPRN can provide its visitors with the latest news and information, NASCAR news is also fed to the site and displayed through RMG3’s R1 News Feed without any effort or resource allocation on the part of the GoPRN staff. RMG3’s programmers also enhanced the site with enhanced features, such as live broadcasts of PRN radio shows, station listings and schedules, and interactive polls.
Result: GoPRN.com now has a clean, user-friendly, easily navigable, professional design, with new information and activities for visitors every day. Its secure back-end handles a significant volume of content and live broadcast streams. And, the solution has been cost-effective for both SMI and PRN. The site has proved to be very popular with race fans, and the ease of updating has proved to be very popular with the PRN staff.
