Challenge: FIFA, the worldwide governing body for soccer, needed a high-quality, high-efficiency content solution for its web site during the U-17 World Championship, held in Trinidad & Tobago in the fall of 2001.
Approach: RMG3 approached this challenge by deploying more than a dozen members of its Content Production Team to T&T; in the days leading up to and throughout the tournament. The team worked around the clock to produce articles, data, photos, and internet audio, covering every match through the Final. RMG3’s writers and editors produced both hard news and feature articles. Content was sourced, written, edited and published by RMG3’s onsite staff. A significant amount of audio was streamed and photos filled the site due to RMG3’s efforts.
Result: FIFA had a completely Turnkey, cost-effective content solution for a major international event with no worries about the quantity or quality of content produced. The event was covered from beginning to end, soup to nuts, and fans from around the globe received the most comprehensive coverage of the tournament available.
