Marketing campaign to be introduced at industry gathering
|
Chicago, IL -
The Grow Boating Coaliton is using the biggest industry gathering, the Miami International Boat Show produced by the NMMA, to unveil the marketing campaign for the Grow Boating Initiative.
Complete updates will be provided on all aspects of the Grow Boating Initiative, which is an integrated program to grow boating by addressing issues with product quality, sales and service quality, and retail statistics in addition to marketing and promotion of the boating lifestyle.
Everyone who makes their living from the boating industry is invited to attend the Grow Boating All-Industry Meeting, being held Wednesday, February 16, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in rooms A201 to A204 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Representatives from Carmichael Lynch, the marketing agency of record for the Grow Boating Initiative, will be at the meeting to introduce the final print and broadcast advertisements, discuss the strategy behind the campaign, and to answer questions from attendees.
NMMA has also invited leaders from all industry segments to the meeting to present how their industry segment will contribute cash for the ongoing Grow Boating Funding.
“After talking about a plan to develop a cooperative marketing campaign to grow boating for over two decades, it is finally becoming a reality,” says NMMA president Thom Dammrich.
“This is an historical gathering for the boating industry and I encourage all NMMA members and industry stakeholders to attend.”
The Grow Boating All-Industry meeting is open to any member of the boating trade who would like to attend. While advance registration is not required and there is no charge to attend, NMMA requests that people register online so that appropriate arrangements can be made to accommodate all who wish to attend. To register, visit www.growboating.org, or contact NMMA assistant director of Public Relations Dan Green at (312) 946-6269; dgreen@nmma.org.
The Grow Boating Initiative is a cooperative effort among leaders in the recreational boating industry to increase participation in boating by actively promoting the boating lifestyle to the public, improving product, sales and service quality and industry statistics.
