Townhouses and condominiums take four to six months to build. Single family homes take six months to build. Certain options and upgrades may take a little longer. Your sales representative will keep you up to date on your home's progress.

5: How quickly can I move into a Stratland Homes residence?
After construction is completed and the proper inspections have been completed a certificate of occupancy is issued. You are free to move in any time after the certificate of occupancy is issued.

6: How often does Stratland Homes open new communities both traditional and active ?
We are opening new communities in the Northeast, Sunbelt and the West every three months. We are currently building our first active adult community for individuals 55 and better in Clifton, New Jersey.

8: When in the building process do I choose my optional home features?
After you have purchased your home, your sales representative will forward you onto the design center/third party design company. The first stage will be an evaluation. At this time, you will be able to review all the standard features and compare them to the upgrade options. After the evaluation is complete, you should create your list of wants and needs and then schedule another visit to the design center. At this time, you can discuss your list and budget. Before you know it, you will be sitting back and watching your dream home come to life!

Our single-family home floor plans provide the most flexibility. After selecting your floor plan you will have the opportunity to request special features such as bonus rooms, screened-in porches (also known as Carolina rooms), extra garages and extra rooms above the garage.
