If you are accepted by both degree programs, you can complete the M.P.A. and the M.S.P.H. degrees by taking all of the core courses and required capstone courses in both degree programs, with either MMPA 6130 Applied Research or PUBH 6430 Social and Behavioral Research Methods. Also, you'll take only one specialization from either the M.P.A. or the M.S.P.H. program. You can earn both degrees with a total of 86 credit hours, rather than the 102 credit hours required to complete both degree programs separately.
