1. In case we do not have any Trade Finance Facilities with the bank, can we obtain the Shipping Guarantee?

Normally, Bank of Asia will issue the Shipping Guarantee only to the customers who already open L/C with the bank.

2. Can the bank issue the Shipping Guarantee In case the goods arrived to the port but the shipping documents do not route through the bank?

Normally, the bank will issue the Shipping Guarantee only when the documents are routed through the bank.

3. When should we apply for Shipping Guarantee?

When the customers are notified by the ship liners or air liners that the goods arrived to seaport or airport but they haven't received the shipping documents from the bank, they can contact Bank of Asia to issue Shipping Guarantee.

4. Where can we obtain the Shipping Guarantee Form?

The customers who want to issue Shipping Guarantee can obtain the Shipping Guarantee Form from the relevant shipping companies.

5. When can we cancel the Shipping Guarantee?

The bank will cancel the Shipping Guarantee only when the customers returned the Shipping Guarantee to the bank for cancellation.
