NEW YORK/PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Time Warner Inc. and Comcast Corp. have reached a definitive agreement to buy Adelphia Communications Corp. for $17.6 billion in cash and stock, a deal that will create a new number-two U.S. pay-TV operator, sources familiar with the transaction said on Wednesday.
