    Flights operate from two locations:

  • Midtown - VIP Heliport
    West 30th Street and 12th Ave., on the Hudson River.
    Flights operate daily 9:00am - 9:00pm
  • Downtown Heliport
    Pier 6 and East River
    Flights operate Mon-Sat 9:00am - 6:30pm except on Holidays

    Departure Time:

  • Midtown / VIP Heliport - 9:00am to 9:00pm
  • Downtown Heliport - 9:00am to 6:30pm
    Flights depart every fifteen minutes from both Heliports. Passengers should call Liberty Helicopters upon arrival in New York to reconfirm their flight time for the day selected.

  • This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date.
  • Confirmation for this product will be received at time of booking
  • Please Note: This tour flies over water 100% of the time. You will fly parallel to New York landmarks.
  • Tour is operated in English unless otherwise stated
  • Tours are not private. All helicopters seat 7 passengers.
  • You will exchange your voucher at the Liberty Helicopters Heliport for your ticket.
  • All passengers must pay a $2.50 security fee upon arrival at the Heliport.
  • Parking is available at South Street Seaport - approximately 3 blocks south of Pier 6

    Security Requirements:
    All guests of Liberty Helicopters must observe the following security requirements:

  • Must have a valid photo ID (i.e. - Passport or Drivers License)
  • Must check in all bags with security
  • No handbags or carry ons will be allowed on the flight
  • Must walk through a metal detector
  • Personal cameras and video cameras are allowed onboard once they clear through security (Disposable cameras available for purchase at heliport and will be allowed onboard the aircraft as well)

    Pricing Policy:

  • Infants aged 2 years and under are free of charge, provided they can sit on an adults lap
  • No further discounts for other age groups apply
