Yahoo! HotJobs is a leading recruiting solutions company. Our suite of services and products leverages the capabilities of Internet technology to provide a direct exchange between job seekers and employers.

How does the Resume Partnership work?
Place hyperlinks on your Web site to Yahoo! HotJobs "Post Your Resume" page. When someone from your site signs up as a job seeker and posts their unique resume, you earn $1. Every month, you will receive a check if the balance in your account for that month is more than $25.

How does the Job Posting Partnership work?
Place hyperlinks on your Web site to Yahoo! HotJobs "Post A Job" page. If an employer or corporate recruiter posts a qualified job or purchases a qualified job pack, you earn 20% of the sale amount. Every month, you will receive a check if the balance in your account for that month is more than $25.

Who is Commission Junction?
Commission Junction is an affiliate marketing solutions provider. Through their service, we are able to manage this revenue-sharing relationship. With reliable tracking, real-time reporting and a simple to use interface, Commission Junction makes it easy for you to utilize affiliate resources from Yahoo! HotJobs and track your commissions and payments.

Tracking & Payment

How are orders tracked and credited to my site?
All links from your site to Yahoo! HotJobs contain your site's unique source ID. Every time a user comes to us through a link placed on your site, we will credit you when a qualified transaction is completed. Make sure that all links on your site are created using the correct code, so they are tracked correctly.

How much will I be paid?
Commission rates are $1 per eligible resume and 20% of the sale amount per qualified job posting or qualified job pack.

How can I check my earnings?
Our program uses third-party verification for tracking, reporting and payment processing through Commission Junction. You can check your real-time earnings report online at any time.

When will I be paid?
You will be paid monthly if your total account balance for that month is more than $25. If your balance is less than $25, the total amount will be carried to the next month. Once it exceeds $25, a check will automatically be sent to you on the 20th of the month for the total amount due.

How will I monitor my sales from day to day?
Once you join the HotJobs.com HotReach Affiliate Program, Commission Junction will send you a unique user ID and password, so you can access tracking and earnings information.

I operate more than one Web site. Can you track them separately, but pay me with one commission check?
Yes. You can have multiple sites under one Commission Junction account. When signing up for Yahoo! HotJobs HotReach Affiliate Program, just provide the name(s) and URLs of the additional sites. You will then be able to create links specifically for each site and generate separate reports for each site. You will receive one commission check for all of your sites.

Is my site eligible to become a member?
Yahoo! HotJobs is interested in developing partnerships with sites of all sizes, from large commercial sites to individual Web pages. Anyone may submit an application. We reserve the right to refuse a site at our sole discretion for any reason.

What does it cost to join?
Joining the Yahoo! HotJobs HotReach Affiliate Program is absolutely FREE.

Can a Web site based outside the United States be a HotReach Affiliate member?
We welcome Affiliate member sites in the U.S. and Canada only. All commission payment checks to HotReach Affiliate members are denominated in U.S. dollars.

Setting Up Links

How do I create links to Yahoo! HotJobs "Build A Resume" or "Post a Job"?
To create tracked links, visit our Getting Started page or go to Commission Junction. Once there, choose Get Links and then select Yahoo! HotJobs from your list of merchant partners.

What is my responsibility as a member of the Yahoo! HotJobs HotReach Affiliate Program?
You may set up as many links to Yahoo! HotJobs as you'd like. To drive traffic, it's important to let your visitors know how easy it is to use Yahoo! HotJobs, whether they're posting a resume or an open job position. You are responsible for placing the links on your site.

Can I use the Yahoo! HotJobs name and logo on my site?
Yes. Guidelines and additional information are available on our Agreement page.

Can I change and update my links whenever I want?
Yes. You may change and update the links on your site at any time. Whenever you change or update links, please be sure that they are working properly before making the changes live.

Do I have to build a "job" site?
No, building a job site is not necessary; however, you should actively maintain your site. With updated information and links, your visitors will be encouraged to return, which may increase site traffic and the opportunity to generate revenue.
