  Your Childhood Cancer Resource Guide
POGO's guide to services in Ontario is intended to make it easier for parents and caregivers of children with cancer to find the information they need.

Family Fun Day for POGO

For the 5th year in a row, Camp Green Acres is generously hosting the Family Fun Day for POGO. Each year, this event has attracted families with young children who have a wonderful day enjoying the camp, and getting to know about POGO. This year's event is raising money for the Pediatric Oncology Financial Assistance Program to help families with children in cancer treatment.

  The Roots of Rock Auction
The Roots of Rock Collection is a world-renowned fine collection of vintage guitars and amplifiers. Independently valued at around $4-million U.S., this collection has recently been donated for sale by Toronto businessman and philanthropist Tony Melman, with all proceeds benefiting childhood cancer.

The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario

The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) was founded in 1983 by a group of pediatric oncologists to champion childhood cancer care and control. As the representative voice of the childhood cancer community, POGO works to ensure that all of Ontario's children with cancer have equal access to state-of-the-art diagnosis, treatment and required ancillary services. We also aim to make certain that Ontario's children with cancer have the greatest prospects for survival with an optimal quality of life.

Working Towards the Future

In consultation with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, work is under way on the next 5-year Provincial Childhood Cancer Control Plan. This is an opportunity for stakeholders across the province to make a difference in how the system develops. Click here for more information about the Provincial Childhood Cancer Control Plan.
