Money and communications: Bureau de change and ATMs are available in both terminals. Cash and credit card telephones are also available throughout the airport.

Eating and drinking: There is an extensive range of cafés, restaurants and fast food outlets both airside and landside.

Shopping: There are several retail shops at the airport including newsagents, bookshops and grocers, as well as music and video, accessories, electrical, and health and beauty retailers.

Luggage: A left luggage facility (tel: (0)121 767 7987), that also offers key holding and baggage delivery services, is available on the first floor in Terminal 1. Assistance with baggage and check-in is available by contacting the Airport Information Desk (tel: (0)870 733 5511) prior to arrival.

Baggage Trolleys: Available at the main entrance to the terminal and in the Baggage Reclaim Halls.

Rendezvous Point: On the ground floor in the main concourse, adjacent to Travelex.

Tour Operators Desks: On the ground floor in the main concourse. The desks are normally staffed 2 hours before flight departure, for tickets on departure only.

Telephones: Available throughout the terminal.

Location: The airport is located 13km (8 miles) southeast of Birmingham city centre

Postal Facilities: On the ground floor in the main concourse.

Ticket Desks: For scheduled and charter airlines, located on the ground floor of the main concourse.

Left Luggage: Situated on the first floor, next to Boots. Also offering key holding and baggage delivery service. 1 Apr-31 Oct: 24 hours, 1 Nov-31 Mar: 0500-2100.

Medical Centre: The Airport's first aid facilities are available 24 hours daily.

Passport Photo Machine: In the main concourse on the ground floor.

Fax Facility: Credit card-operated machines are available in the Business Booths in the Departure Lounge.

Nappy Changing Rooms: Available at all times and situated on the first floor and also in the Departure Lounge from the end of March 2000.

Executive Lounges: Handling agents have lounge facilities for their customer airlines. Business services available in each lounge. For further information contact either handling agent.

Smoking Areas: There are designated areas for smoking and they are within the Granary buffet area and The Abraham Darby Pub on the first floor, and within the Departure Lounge catering outlets, Costa Coffee and Shakespeare Pub.
