I have never had an inclination to visit areas around the Black Sea etc. However your description of the Crimea and it's beauty has helped to change my mind. Contrary to belief, most USA citizens are not rich and can't just jet to other countries at will. I have been to many parts of Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, India etc.), courtesy of the U.S. Navy but now that I am a working civilian with a family and children in college cannot travel just yet. But when I retire I believe the Crimea is one place I would like to visit. I am not a mountain climber but I do do extensive hiking/backpacking in the North Cascades, Washington State. Keep Malta and the Crimea beautiful! It looks like a paradise on the Black Sea. Take Care

I was borne in Sevastopol and since i finshed high school I live in Canada ... I have not been back to Crimea for 11 years and this summer contemplating a trip .... i came across your site while doing a bit of a research and i just wanted to compliment you on such a well done resentation of Crimea and your services !! .... After I left Crimea from your great tour, I started checking into rock climbing. Now I go to an indoor gym that has a 30 meter high wall with over hangs! 2-3 times per week. I also climb at an outdoor State park in Wisconsin, Devils Lake, that has over 1500 climbs on the quartz bluffs that range from 20 to 30 meters in height. I'm a really good climber and can climb 5-9 to 5-10 level of difficulty climbs. I also have all my own gear, ropes, shoes, harnesses, cams, stoppers, caribiners, and belay devices. I'm going to California to do some climbing in the San Hacinto mountains next week. Thanks for getting me started in this great sport. Although we didn't rock climb in Yalta, the rappelling,hiking,caving and little bit of mountaineering we did started me on this whole thing,and now it's my complete obsession. Hope to be able to come to Yalta again some time and climb with you. Thanks
