ActiveKB Active Response System (ARS)
The ActiveKB Active Response System has been totally re-written for ActiveKB 2005. It is now quicker, and uses client-side JavaScript XML technology that works in all web browsers. It truly does make ActiveKB the most unique and powerful knowledge base available.
By 'connecting' your contact form (or the built in ActiveKB contact form) with your knowledge base, your visitors can get instant answers to questions that they would normally send you via email.
Here's how ActiveKB's Active Response System works:
1. A website visitor wants to know more about your products or services. They visit your built-in ActiveKB contact form to ask a question...

2. Articles in your knowledgebase that match the visitors question are found, and are displayed on the page without refreshing (using ActiveKB's built-in client-side XML retrieval technology). At this point your visitor can read these answers to see if they help solve his problem.

3. If your visitor doesn't find the answer that he/she is looking for, they can click on the "Send Message" button to send an email to you containing their question or comment. If enabled, this question will also be saved in your ActiveKB control panel as a pending question.
