Greg, Ralph, Annie, Wade, Steve, Erin, and Jody with their bounty of the sea.

If it swims it dies - the motto of the day! Today the halibut bite was slow for most of the day. We managed to catch a nice 101 pounder for the first 'but of the day and filled the down time catching rockfish and silver salmon which were in abundance. Near the end of the day the halibut cooperated and we filled out our limit.

Theresa, Glenn, Corey, Ron, CJ, Hollis, Henry, Carin, and Caitlyn had a great day and pulled in halibut up to 93 pounds.

Today was another scorcher on the water here in Seward (relatively speaking of course). The sunshine wasn't the only thing that was hot today - the fishing was too. Kevin brought home a nice load of halibut ranging from 20 - 35 pounds including one that topped the scales at 106. Ben and I on the Pursuit found some nice fish between 35 and 93 pounds and we finished the day with a few chickens in the 20 pound range. Both boats also managed to catch a few salmon while halibut fishing.

A great day on the water for the gang of halibut slayers aboard the Pursuit. The bite was good in the morning for fish in the 40 - 75 pound range. In the afternoon we found a good bite of chickens in the 25 - 30 pound range and even hooked into a couple of nice 18-20 pound king salmon.

Today was a beautiful day on the water. The fish cooperated well in the morning with steady action of fish from 50 to 60 pounds. The bite slowed a bit around noon but picked up again in the early afternoon. We also caught a few silvers (not pictured) who's carcasses were promptly turned into halibut bait.

The hearty team of anglers on the ProFish let by the fearless Capt. Kevin managed a nice haul of halibut even though the weather conditions were less than ideal (unless you're an orca whale).

We braved some rough weather today and pulled off a good day of fishing. Due in part the the 5 hour "staredown" Rodney gave the fish - along with some chum, the fish cooperated nicely. Kevin raised the bar and set the new boat record of 134 pounds on the new Pursuit.
