Miro creates Mambo Foundation for the community
The formation of the Mambo Foundation, a non-profit
organisation whose mission is to manage the Mambo project, will ensure
the security, longevity and success of Mambo and its community of
users. Our next goal is to put together a strong organizational
structure and encourage coordination between teams including core
development, maintenance, documentation, translation, third-party
development, membership, finance, administration and advocacy who will
work under the Foundation umbrella.

COO of US DataVault, Khena Kara,
shares his rationale on why his company chose to use Jango over other content
management systems.
When they signed a contract with Tiger Direct,
which is the third largest online reseller of computer hardware and software in
the world, to resell our services, and US DataVault needed an easy way to communicate
with all of their sales people, which were spread out over eight call centers
across the U.S.
Instead of filling their hundreds of salespeople with emails, they needed a
centralized location for the staff to be able to download documents about their
company and software to send to potential customers, pricing information,
industry related news, links, and calendar of events.

Mambo wins at LinuxWorld Expo
Mambo has
once again made its presence felt at the LinuxWorld Conference and Expo
by clinching the award for 'Best Open Source Solution'.
The
award was part of the event's Product for Excellence awards. There are
14 categories in total and among the finalist in this category were,
Firefox, Linux and IBM: Derby Project

Mambo
- A Growing Phenomenon in
Thailand
Mambohub.com is the first Mambo information andcommunity wesbite in
Thailand.
It was started by Akarawuth Tamrareang in May 2003.
His
objective was to create a community website for Mambo users in
Thailand to
exchange technical knowledge and localise Mambo. In order to popularise and
raise awareness of Mambo, Akarawuth knew that he had to localise it.

Cleverplanet- a new way of making a difference!
 Cleverplanet
– a company dedicated to changing the way people think about donating to
charities, by providing new, easier and fun ways of making a difference.
Launching in December 2003, Cleverplanet was initially struck with problems as
a result of the complexity required for their online systems. Cleverplanet’s
