UK REFORM, WTO RULING ADVANCE CAUSE OF REGULATED INTERACTIVE GAMING
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 8, 2005 -- Two developments Thursday demonstrate how the United States is out of step with much of the world when it comes to handling the challenges posed by online gambling, the Interactive Gaming Council said today. One was the passage of the United Kingdom gambling reform legislation and the other was the final decision of the World Trade Organization regarding Antigua’s complaint that the U.S. prohibition of Internet gambling violates U.S. commitments under the GATS, the General Agreement on Trade in Services.

INTERNET COMMERCE SURVEY
VANCOUVER, British Columbia July 8, 2005 - If you have ever made any financial transactions over the Internet, your support is requested in completing this survey. It should take between 5 and 15 minutes to complete. The project seeks to understand consumer perceptions of barriers for Internet commerce and how they may be better managed by industry, in particular as it relates to Internet gaming.
Interested companies are encouraged to post the link on their website and/or include it in email communications to their customers encouraging their participation in the survey.
