Mid-Summer Salmon In Northern Lake Michigan
15 Jul 2005 to 15 Aug 2005
As the large schools of King Salmon seek out their favorite temperature ranges of 49-54 degrees they migrate every year north up the west side of Lake Michigan following currents and bait fish on their journey north. Mid-July through Mid- August is the best time of the year to find them as they reach their most northerly point at Manistique, Michigan. And with this package you'll be there to meet them. Fish in the 20-30 lb. range are not uncommon at all this time of year and what a fun time you'll have fighting this King of the Great Lakes.
We catch them trolling with downriggers and dipsy divers just about 7 miles off of Manistique, Michigan which is a neat little resort town with lots nice resturants and lodging facilities, and other things to see and do when you're not out hauling in one of these monsters.
This package trip includes 2 days of Salmon fishing aboard our DNR inspected charter boats. Your captain is experienced and licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard. We will supply all of the equipment, a continental breakfast and lunch aboard the boat. The package also includes 2 days lodging at the Holiday Inn Express in Manistique. We will also clean and process your fish for you.
