1. What
do you need to do to receive funds from outside the country through
Bank of Asia?
If you want the overseas remitter
to remit the funds to you through your Bank of Asia's account, you
will need to provide the following information to the remitter:
- Beneficiary name
- Beneficiary bank account number and branch.
- Name and address of the Bank of Asia

2. How do
you know when there is an overseas inward remittance transaction?
The bank will inform the customers
(via telephone) of all inward remittance transactions. Alternatively,
customers can check their bank statement or their overseas inward
remittance transaction through Asia Cyber Banking. For more information,

3. What
are the supporting documents required when receiving the funds from
outside the country?
If the customer receives the
funds from overseas in any currency with a value of USD 10,000 or
more, and that transaction is not for payment of goods that already
have supporting documents, then the customer will be required to
fill out the Thor. Tor. 3 form for reporting to the Bank of Thailand.
The customer can request for Thor. Tor. 3 form from at the branch
that receives the funds.
4. What
is the inward remittance fee for receiving the funds from oversea/outside
the country?
The normal inward remittance
fee is THB 500 per transaction regardless of the transaction amount.
5. How to
check the details of an overseas inward remittance through Asia
Cyber Banking?
If the customer wants to check
the details of all their overseas inward remittance transactions
through Asia Cyber Banking, then the customer can request and submit
the application "Request for using Asia Cyber Banking for overseas
transaction" form from e-International Trade on the 13th Floor,
Bank of Asia, Head Office Tel. 0-2343-4944 or at any Bank of Asia
branches.
6. When
can we check for an overseas inward transaction through Asia Cyber
Banking?
The bank will post all customer
overseas inward remittance transaction into Asia Cyber Banking at
the end of each working day. Therefore, the customer who applies
for the inward remittance service can check for their incoming funds
at the end of each working day.
