Complete online or mail
the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA). Average
processing time is four
weeks if mailed; about
two weeks if completed
online. List Title

Tennessee residents
applying for the Tennessee
Student Assistance Awards
(TSAA) are encouraged to
complete the FAFSA by this
date. The Office of Financial
Aid mails inquiry forms
to students asking their
summer school plans and
their interest in financial
aid assistance.
April 15
The priority deadline
preceding each school year
for student financial aid
files to be complete. Aid
funds may not be available
for students who apply
after July 1. Please contact
of Office of Financial
Aid for other means to
assist you with your cost
of education. November 15
The priority deadline
to receive financial aid
for the Spring Semester.
All student financial aid
files in the Office of
Financial Aid must be complete
by this date. 30-Day Hold
Delayed disbursement
of Federal Stafford Loans
for first-time freshmen.
These funds are released
to student accounts thirty
days after classes start.
