The Stars of Gold award program celebrates volunteerism in Alaska.
It recognizes
community volunteers who have dedicated talents and energy to improving
the lives
of Alaskans.
Through commitment to service and demonstration of citizenship,
volunteers help to
solve social challenges and build stronger families and communities.
By actions, they
inspire commitment and caring for others. The Stars of Gold award
honors Alaskans who demonstrate caring by exceptional action.
Lieutenant Governor Leman hopes the Stars of Gold program will
elevate volunteerism
as an important and ongoing responsibility. By nominating an individual
volunteer or
organization, you can recognize those who exemplify extraordinary
service. If you know
of an individual or organization that demonstrates excellence in
service and caring, we
encourage you to submit a Stars of Gold nomination.

of Gold nomination form and instructions.
