However well meaning we as parents try to be, there are times when we lose it. Or, more frequently, we picked up a bad habit in our parenting skills and we rely on it too often.

The only way to get rid of a bad habit is to recognize it, figure out what triggered it, and then replace it with another, more positive behavior. Therefore, for this activity you will try to recognize one of your parenting ‘bad habits’. After you find it, write it down and list what triggered the behavior. Then answer these questions:
