Gatwick Airport Skyview

Gatwick airport offers you a quite unique aviation experience in the South Terminal which brings the airfield to life. Skyview includes a multi-media show of a day in the life of Gatwick, panoramic airfield views, a tour of an historic airliner, the nose cone of a Comet jet and an all action simulator ride. Gatwick Airport Connections

You will not need to clear Customs or Immigration at London Gatwick. International to Domestic Connections You must clear Immigration and Customs at London Gatwick. Domestic to International Connections You may use the special Immigration check points if your baggage is through-checked. Baggage If your baggage is through-checked to your final destination, you do not need to collect it at London Gatwick, it will continue to your final destination for Customs clearance. If it is not through-checked, you must collect your baggage at London Gatwick. Follow signs to "Baggage Reclaim" which will lead first to the immigration hall. After collecting your baggage, proceed to the appropriate check-in. To Heathrow Airport If you are connecting via Gatwick Airport, you must follow signs to "Baggage Reclaim", collect your baggage if necessary, and take a bus to Gatwick Airport. The Speedlink service picks up from the departures forecourt at the South Terminal and at the North Terminal from the arrivals forecourt. The service runs every 15 minutes between the hours of 0515 and 1120, followed by one service at 1140 hours and one at 1200 hours, after which time the service operates every 30 minutes until 2230 hours. The journey time is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Inter-terminal connections If you need to change terminal for your flight to the UK, Channel Islands, or Ireland follow "Arrivals", collect baggage if necessary, and take the Inter Terminal Transit, a free automatic train which operates between North and South Terminals every 3 minutes. Journey time 2 minutes. For passengers connecting onto international flights, there is a free inter-terminal bus which operates from below the flight connections areas.
