Vancouver is situated in southwestern British Columbia.
British Columbia is situated on the west coast of Canada. The state of
Washington is directly south of BC and the province of Alberta is located to
the east.
Because of its location on the Pacific Coast, the west coast
of the province enjoys a mild but wet climate while south central British
Columbia is nestled between high mountains and enjoys an extremely dry
climate. The Rocky Mountains separate British Columbia from Alberta.
