VeriSign's Research and Development Department supports the company's business units with technology and business research. The group is comprised of skilled engineering, scientific, and business professionals.

Research and development is done on many different levels, ranging from technology development, prototyping, and piloting to external forum representation and business planning associated with prospective new VeriSign products or services. These Internet solutions help redefine the way we use the Web, further enabling everyone, everywhere to engage in commerce and communications with confidence.

Members of the VeriSign Research team are currently distributed across VeriSign sites in Mountain View, CA; Dulles, VA; Wakefield, MA; and Atlanta, GA.
