Delhi Bombings

The coordinated bombings that ripped through two crowded market places on 29 October killed dozens of people and injured hundreds more. One of the markets, Paharganj, is popular with budget travellers. Security has been stepped up in the wake of the attacks but travellers remaining in the area should exercise caution. Those considering travel to Delhi should consult government travel advisories and monitor the latest news.
