 Google has enhanced its feature for ads to attract more advertisers and, therefore, a move intended to gain more revenue!
Google has changed and strengthened its AdSense service, which has new display options. The search engine used to offer text-based ads, which appear alongside search results, but now with added features advertisers can run images and animated ads on web pages.
A further enhancement will allow the advertiser to choose the sites themselves for displaying their ads. But Google has to take the decision on which site the ads will appear.
This special site targeting ads will be run on a cost-per-thousand basis, but all other programs will continue to run with pay-per-click payment model. Ads in its site targeting program can be image-based, animated ads or sponsored links.
This move by Google is going to increase a lot of revenue, as other search engines are offering a lot of features for ads, and this site targeting system can attract a lot of customers for Google!
