Release 5.0

NetBeans 5.0 will introduce plug-in developer support, the new intuitive GUI builder Matisse, new and redesigned CVS support, JBoss 4 support, and the Error Stripe. Check the roadmap for expected release dates.

Release 4.1

NetBeans 4.1 supports development of applications for the J2EE 1.4 Platform and their deployment to the Sun Java System Application Server 8.1 Platform Edition. NetBeans 4.1 is the current release, released May 11th, 2005.
