Many services are available to visitors in the Denali Park Area, and in the neighboring communities of Healy and Cantwell.

Alaska Railroad -- You can travel to Denali by rail from Fairbanks or Anchorage. In Anchorage, call 265-2683, in Denali call 683-2233, and outside of Alaska call 1-800-544-0552. They can also be found on the web at: www.alaskarailroad.com.

Banks -- The closest banks are in Fairbanks. ATM service is provided in Healy year-round. Between May and September ATM's are located just outside of the park at businesses located at mile post 240, Parks Highway.

Gas -- Located year-round in Healy & Cantwell, and during the summer just north of the park entrance on the George Parks Highway (Hwy. #3)

Groceries -- Convenience stores and a small grocery store are located in Healy and Cantwell, and are open year-round. For your convenience the Riley Creek Mercantile stocks small supplies and food items. The Riley Creek Mercantile is located on the park road approximately 0.5 miles past the entrance of the park.

Food -- The Morino Grill is located near the Visitor Center at mile 1.5 on the Park Road. Dates and services for 2005 are listed below. Coffee and Pastry service only from May 15th thru the 20th.

May 15th to May 20th 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.
May 21st to Sept 19th 8 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Lost & Found -- If you lose something of value, contact a ranger or shuttle bus driver for assistance. Both Visitor Centers are primary contacts for reporting losses and turning in found items. If you find something of value, federal law requires that it be turned in to a ranger. Check with the Visitor Centers if you are in the park visiting. During the regular summer season, you can contact lost and found at: 907-683-9275. Outside of the summer season inquires can be directed to: 907-264-4600.

Medical Services -- The Interior Community Health Center, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is located in the Tri-Valley Community Center, 13 miles north of the park and one half miles east of Alaska Hwy. #3 on Healy Spur Road. A physician's assistant and a registered nurse are on call 24 hours a day.  Call 683-2211 for appointments. The closest physicians and hospitals are in Fairbanks. The park is equipped to respond to emercency medical situations. If you have an emergency while visiting the park dial 911 for immediate assistance.

Post Office -- Located .25 miles from the entrance of the park

Restaurant & Lodging -- The Greater Healy Chamber of Commerce has a listing of area, restaurant , hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, campgrounds, hostels, and can help plan your trip to the Denali area.

Visitor Centers & Ranger Stations -- Located at the entrance of Denali National Park & Preserve, and Talkeetna. Find out more about these Visitor Centers & Ranger Stations
