Changes to Private Message functionality
Just getting in touch to let you know that we're making a few changes to the Private Message functionality of Thorn Tree.

The large number of private messages currently stored in the Thorn Tree database is having an adverse effect on Thorn Tree speed. So we've decided to set a limit on how many messages you can archive in your message history folder to 100 (both sent & received). Once you have reached this limit, you'll need to delete or export your messages in order to continue to send and receive messages.

To export your private messages, simply log in to your account and click the export tab on the view private history page. Remember to tick the "Delete Private Messages after export" option if you wish to delete them, personally I'd suggest a dry run first, then tick Delete when you're happy that it's worked :)

Around mid November we will be implementing these changes and automatically removing all but the most 100 recently sent or received emails from your private message history folder, so please be sure to export any messages which you would like to keep a copy of.

Cheers, the Thorn Tree Team
