Sudan and Kenya: Deputy Secretary Zoellick's Travel Deputy Secretary Zoellick is traveling to Kenya and Sudan Nov. 6-11 to press for progress in the ongoing Sudanese peace process, an end to the violence in Darfur that threatens aid relief, and achievement of a political settlement of the Darfur crisis. Secretary To Visit Middle East and Asia Secretary Rice will travel to the Middle East and Asia from November 10-21, 2005. She will visit Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Palestinian Territories, and South Korea. Secretary Rice also will accompany President Bush on his visits to China and Mongolia. [full text]
