Mammoth Mountain Opening Day November 10

The Mammoth Mountain Ski area is busy at work. Mother Nature finally dumped her 1st load and with our snowmaking gear, the main lodge is hoping to be ready to rock on November 10 with an opening day party on the 12th. Snowmaking is an art and the weather needs to cooperate with low daytime and evening temperatures... which iat the moment, it is. Convict Lake Fish Derby Catch as Catch Can

This is it folks. The last of the Fish Derbies is on now to the last day of fishing season, November 13. All the rules are available at the Convict Lake Resort or at local tackle shops. Opening Day Celebration, Mammoth Mountain

The summer has been hot, and we have been working our buns off getting the slopes ready for another long, winter. We are expecting piles of snow again this year, and the first tracks are on November 10 up at Main Lodge, and the opening day festivities are scheduled for the following Saturday evening November 12. There will be a rail jam, concerts,a giant opening day ribbon cutting and music everywhere. Check our entertainment section for the news.
