makes Thayer's Mysteries so special?

attending the interactive mystery dinner becomes
either a main or supporting character.

How
do Murder Mysteries work?
-
Prior to the mystery,
( about 8 days before) we mail each person participating in the mystery, an information packet
(A Personal & Confidential Character Profile) that includes a full
character description & costume ideas.
-
When
making reservations for others, we need everyone's
addresses in your party
-
Characters
are not gender specific.
-
You
may tell each other who your character is but, DO NOT tell
anyone what your character knows until you get to the
mystery.
-
PLEASE
DO NOT read anyone else's character profile.
-
Festivities
begin around 6:30pm with complimentary
appetizers and dinner & the mystery last about 3 hours.
-
After
the dastardly deed has been done, sometime during the
evening, it's time to solve the Mystery & find the
killer.

Murder Mysteries are designed to have fun! please, don't
get excited about mistakes. Our Mysteries are written
so that when mistakes happen- it's OK.
What
is a Scheduled Murder
Mystery Dinner?

A
scheduled Mystery dinner is one that we have the date already set
up in our scheduled events calendar

Scheduled
Mysteries are held at least once a quarter.

Scheduled
Mysteries are open to singles, couples and groups

We have a
collection of many plots and eras dating from 400BC
right up to today in our mystery library.

Each
scheduled Interactive Murder Mystery has
different suspects, characters, victims and
murderers for every time they are played out. You can join in the fun
often and always be surprised with the
outcome!

Can
I be in a Mystery Dinner & not stay over night?

An
overnight B&B stay is NOT required to be in a Murder
Mystery.

Most
people stay over because it's the fun, cool thing to do...
and you get to relax and not
have to do a late drive home.

Murder
Mystery dinners are priced at $65 per person plus 6.5%
sales tax and
a 20% automatic service gratuity.

Sometimes
we offer reduced pricing; the automatic 20% service
gratuity charge is figured on the total standard price

recommend purchasing your Mystery Dinner at least 2 weeks in advance, however, there are
times that we have last minute openings.

What
if I want a Mystery dinner on a date not scheduled or for
just my group?

No
alcohol is served at our mystery dinners.

Thayer's
murder mysteries are not suitable for children; those under the age of 16
years old will not be
admitted.

Thayer's
Murder Mystery Dinners
do not work well as a surprise outing. When looking
to surprise someone, our other Entertainment
Events work great for a fun Surprise!

murder mystery dinners and special events are pre-paid and non-exchangeable. As payment we
