Thayer's Historic Bed & Breakfast is enchanted (haunted); the ghosts, spirits of Caroline and Gus Thayer and many others visit regularly. It is Gus who leaves pennies for guests and it is many other of his friends that stop in for a visit now and again. Thayer's has three resident ghost kitties and a myriad of sightings have taken place here. The most recent published sightings were when WCCO TV, a Minneapolis based TV station, did a piece on Thayer's; they brought in Gina Booth, cofounder of the Minnesota Paranormal Investigative Group to check Thayer's out. When it comes to food, Thayer's is phenomenal. We make every effort to accommodate restricted diets like Vegetarian, diabetic, macrobiotic, lactose intolerances and wheat allergies; simply let us know when you make your reservations and we will do our very best to work the necessary items into your menu.
