Many purrs are included with your stay, along with two choices for breakfast.  A fabulous full breakfast served at 9:00am in the dining room each morning or a light breakfast of juice, coffee, fruit and pastries delivered to your room.

Page #207 Gus' Room - details    With an Eastlake walnut bedroom set, double bed and bold colored bedding this room has an 1860’s East India exotic flair which makes for a fine stay! To say the least, interesting things have happened in this room.  A single whirlpool & shower add to the romance. Sometimes, when Gus is in the neighborhood, he will visit, but, only if you invite him. Over the mantle hangs a likeness of Joan of Arc. A claw footed tub (with shower) great for a relaxing bubble bath. • Each of Thayer's guest rooms has it's own private bath. 

• Thayer's is a non-smoking Bed and Breakfast.  You may smoke out of doors in designated areas.

• No candles are allowed to be burned in any of our guest rooms.

• Each guest room is perfect for one or two guests. 

• We do not have cots or roll-always. 

• Breakfast is included with every stay - served at individual tables in our dining room at 9:00am 

• A light breakfast can be delivered to your room at no additional charge 

• A Full Breakfast at Thayer's is a hearty event!  

• Our coffee is fantastic- plus we offer a variety of teas and other beverages. 

• We do our best to use organic foods as often as possible 

• Thayer's is known to be enchanted; Gus Thayer leaves us pennies and we have a number of other spirit visitors including ghost kitties!  

• We are cat lovers! and have two friendly cats that are fantastic!! These two Main Coon Kitties love gentle attention. The happy long hair, sporting a tuxedo and goatee, is named Tennessee and we have a sweet pastel calico named Miss Sadie Cat. 

• Thayer's kitties have free roam of the house except for the kitchen & your sleeping quarters (unless you let them into your room) that are off limits. 

• The most recent book we are included in is "A Ghost in my Suitcase" by Mitchel Whitington. Thank You Mitchel!  

• The 2002 Warner book "Ghostly Encounters" by Frances Kermeen has another full chapter written about us. Thank You Frances!
