USAID's Regional ICT Programs

USAID is a highly decentralized agency of the US Government. The bulk of our work worldwide is accomplished in overseas missions. That is as true for information technology work as it is for almost everything else we do. We find that how we implement our information technology programs around the world varies in significant ways by region. Thus, the approach we take in Africa will often be quite different from that of Latin America and the Caribbean. Where needs are greatest, we have developed quite substantial regional approaches. We encourage you to learn more about them.
