Venue Highlights
The Wellington Convention Centre consists of 2 unique buildings located in Wellington’s CBD with 19 venues catering for 50 - 2500 people. The Wellington Town Hall is a beautifully restored historical building (1904).The Michael Fowler Centre follows architecturally modern designs.

Location
We are situated in the heart and soul of Wellington city within walking distance from all major hotels and banks, and surrounded by cafes, culture and nightlife. The venue adjoins Civic Square, an inner city urban park bordered by the city library, art gallery and children’s science museum. The views from the venue over the harbour are breathtaking and there is plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful sights of Wellington. Only 15 minutes from Wellington’s International Airport.

Total number of venues: 19 Total Capacity: 5000 theatre style. Largest venue capacities: 2430 theatre style, 1035 classroom, 1500 cocktails, 600 banquet.

We provide every facility necessary to ensure the total success of any conference, convention, seminar, exhibition, dinner or concert with a full range of production, technical and business facilities available to our clients. Venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs.

Catering Services
In-house catering is supplied by Eurest New Zealand with an international standard of cuisine, for as few as 50 or as many as 2500 at any one time. Themed menus specifically designed to suit your event. Individual delegate dietary requirements catered for.
