1. What kind of cards can be registered to use "Verified by VISA" Service?
Answer : All ASIA VISA cards, including the credit cards and debit cards (VISA Electron).

 

2. Once I register, when can I begin to use "Verified by VISA"?
Answer :
The Verified by Visa will be ready in 24 hours after complete the registration

 

3. How can I edit the information that I already specified in my registration?
Answer :
You can make the correction in Verified by Visa's registration via www.BankAsia4U.com by going to our "E-Commerce" section, select "Verified by Visa", then select "Edit your profile", then make the correction you want. The changes will take effects immediately.

 

4. How can I change my Password and/or Personal Assurance Message (PAM)?
Answer : You can change your password and/or Personal Assurance Message via www.BankAsia4U.com by going to our "E-Commerce" section, select "Verified by Visa", then select "Edit your profile", then change your password and/or your PAM. The changes will take effects immediately.

 

5. How can I cancel Verified by Visa service? When would it be in effect?
Answer : You can cancel "Verified by Visa" via www.BankAsia4U.com by going to our "E-Commerce" section, select "Verified by Visa", then select "Edit your profile", then click "Cancel Service". The cancellation will take effect immediately.

 

6. What is a Personal Assurance Message (PAM)?
Answer : Personal Assurance Message (PAM) is a special text that you specified yourself when you registered for Verified by VISA. The message will be used to verify that you are shopping on-line at Verified by Visa participated web site.

When you want to make a purchase on the web site that offers "Verified by VISA" service, PAM will appear on the computer screen BEFORE you enter your Verified by VISA password. If the PAM appears correctly, you would know that such e-Commerce shops are legitimate shops that registered for Verified by VISA service. You can then enter your password to confirm that you want to pay on-line via VISA card.

If your PAM is inaccurate, such e-Commerce shop may not really register to offer real Verified by VISA service or its authentication system may experience some problems.

 

7. What should I do if the Personal Assurance Message (PAM) is inaccurate?
Answer : You should cancel your purchase and DO NOT enter your password.

 

8. How can I tell which web site offers Verified by Visa service?
