An elegant small modernised C17th French Chateau with swimming pool in a secluded Dordogne hamlet, available for rent in the holiday season. This is a small historic C17th French chateau on the edge of a peaceful rural farming hamlet, in the Perigord/Limousin National Park of the Dordogne, well away from all busy roads and set in grounds of two and a half acres, which give complete privacy, with its own large swimming pool in a sunny walled in garden. Architecturally interesting, it was built as a country manor house by a lawyer to Louis XIIIth. There is plenty of room to sleep eight in comfort and luxury with two double and two twin bedrooms with two bathrooms and one shower room. There is a spacious modern kitchen, dining room, large sitting room and smaller library. Our house surrounds a large internal courtyard which in turn shelters an ancient Lime tree. The local Dordogne countryside is undulating, wooded and almost totally unspoilt.
