Distributing Adobe Reader
Please complete the Adobe® Reader® distribution request only if you are interested in distributing Adobe Reader software via internal Web site, CD, or other media, or are interested in placing an "Includes Adobe Reader" logo on your printed material. As an alternative, you may want to create a link on your CD directly to the Adobe Reader download page.
How to distribute Adobe Reader software
You may post Adobe Reader software on company intranet sites or local networks. You may also distribute Adobe Reader on a CD or any other physical media as long as you accept the terms and conditions of the electronic Adobe Reader Distribution Agreement.
Complete the Adobe Reader Distribution Agreement
Fill out the online request to distribute Adobe Reader.
Once you are authorized to redistribute Adobe Reader, you also will have access to the "Includes Adobe Reader" button for use on printed materials.
"Get Adobe Reader" and Adobe PDF Web logos
For Internet sites, Adobe offers a "Get Adobe Reader" Web logo and an Adobe PDF file icon. The "Get Adobe Reader" logo should point users to Adobe.com to download the latest version of Adobe Reader. The Adobe PDF file icon tells users the document they are downloading is in Adobe Portable Document Format.
Third-party Web sites are required to link directly to Adobe.com for the download of Adobe Reader software. Hosting the software independently is not permitted.
Web sites — Use a GIF version of the "Get Adobe Reader" logo on your extranet or public Web site to allow users to download free Adobe Reader software from Adobe.com. You may also use the logo if you host Adobe Reader on your intranet site. Use a GIF version of the Adobe PDF icon to indicate Adobe PDF files.
How to download
- If you are interested in placing a "Get Adobe Reader" logo button on your Web site, review Adobe's permissions and trademark guidelines and accept the terms of use.
- Once you review and accept the license terms, you will have access to the download page for the "Get Adobe Reader" logo or Adobe PDF icon.
