Missy Marshall will discuss her role in this recent addition to the Garden. A principal of Marshall, Tyler and Rausch; Missy has been involved with master planning and garden design at the Chicago Botanic Garden for over 20 years. Plant Selection
Peter Bristol, Joan OShaughnessy, and Galen Gates
Three Garden staff will talk about plant selection for this project. Considerations included: salt tolerance, the benefits of currently available plants versus new plant species, and the ease of establishing plants. A site-visit will provide greater clarification and close-up views of the project. Combined, these staff selected the trees, shrubs, perennials and native plants for this project.
