Submitted by Diane Benezet, KY

1 box chocolate cake mix
8 oz. sour cream
1 4-serving box INSTANT chocolate pudding
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
4 eggs
6 oz. bag chocolate chips

Beat all ingredients EXCEPT chocolate chips together (using electric mixer- -2 minutes, by hand- -3 minutes), until well blended.    Fold in chocolate chips.  Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.  Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes.
Let cool for at least 15 minutes in pan.  Remove from pan, cool completely and serve.  Can be frosted, dusted with powdered sugar or glazed with 1/2 cup melted canned frosting (microwave 30 seconds, until pouring consistency).
