ISSUE
I am getting invalid username and password and I can not connect to the Internet.
 
ERROR MESSAGE
Error 691 Invalid Username or Password
 
RESOLUTION
1. Verify you have entered the correct username and or password. The username and password are case sensitive.
  • Make sure Caps lock is not on. This is a common problem..
  • If you have a number in the password, verify the Num Lock key is on.
2. When the connect box is displayed on your screen, remove the information in the Username and Password fields.
  • You can remove the information by pressing the Backspace key,
  • Then retype your username and password,
  • Press the connect button.
3. Delete all of the pwl files and reboot the computer.
  • Click on Start button,
  • Click on Find or Search, depending on your operating software,
  • Click on Find Files or Folders,
  • in the Search for files or folders named box,
  • type *.pwl and press the Find now or Search button.
  • Highlight the *.pwl files and delete them,
  • Restart the computer.
  • Type in your username and password information,
  • Press the Connect button.
