Doors to Diplomacy
Register now for the U.S. Department of State and Global SchoolNet 2006 "Doors to Diplomacy" award competition. This award will recognize the student-created Global SchoolNet Web projects that best teach others about the importance of international affairs and diplomacy.

Promoting Cultural Understanding
Along with other programs it offers, the Office of English Language Programs provides professional teacher training programs worldwide to promote understanding of American language, society, culture, values and policies. It is only through a thorough understanding of each other's cultures that we can establish and maintain a foundation of international cooperation and trust.
