Update
Student Information
This allows students/graduates to change their information online. You must have already established a file with us to update your information.
Credential File Registration You may establish a file with us to house information about your employment and educational backgrounds.  Once you are registered, we can refer your resume to appropriate employers and send notices to you of job listings which match your interests/qualifications.  Seniors are strongly encouraged to register with us at least 9 months before graduation.
Job Listings (Full-Time, Part-Time, Summer) Multiple local and national listings are available for viewing in the resource area of the office.  The listings also include state and federal jobs.
Job Vacancy Bulletin A partial summary of job listings received by the Career Placement and Internship Office is made available in the job vacancy bulletin - published bi-monthly. It is available on our web page.
On-Campus Recruiting Local, state, and regional employers send recruiters to the ETSU campus to seek candidates for employment.  The recruiting schedule is available in the office and on our web site at the beginning of each semester.  It is updated as additional employers contact us to schedule recruiting dates.  Be sure to check the schedule every week for additions and changes.  Sign up for interview appointments with these recruiters on a first-come, first served basis in the Career Placement and Internship Services Office.
Job / Career Fairs Job and Career Fairs, scheduled throughout the year, are your opportunity to make contact with potential employers, explore employment opportunities, present your resume, and do some preliminary interviewing.
Video Interviewing This videoconferencing system links students with employers who may be geographically distant.  Many employers and graduate/professional schools, who are unable to visit our campus, may wish to interview students using this technology.
Job Search Skills Seminars / Workshops During each semester, the Career Placement and Internships Services Office staff presents workshops designed to help you develop job search skills.
Career Planning Related to Individual Interests Career Placement and Internship Services staff members are available by appointment to discuss ways to increase your employability.  In addition, they can offer information on how choice of major/minor will affect your job opportunities.
