Pursuant to Administrative Order VII-05-H-1 entered by the Honorable Dale Ross, Chief Judge of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit,
you are hereby notified of the following:
- If you were required to appear in court on a circuit criminal,, county criminal or juvenile case during the Broward County Courthouse
closure due to Hurricane Wilma (Oct. 24 thru Nov. 4, 2005) you will be automatically notified by mail of a new court date.
- If your address has changed, you must notify the Clerk’s Office in writing of your change of address.
Notice of address change must be mailed to Howard C. Forman, Clerk of Courts, 201 SE 6th St., Room 136, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl 33301.
- An extension of time has been granted until 5:00 p.m. November 21, 2005 to pay any previously ordered civil fines which were due to be
paid during the period of time from 8:30 AM October 24, 2005 through 5:00 PM November 4, 2005. You will not receive additional notice of this
extension with regard to these fines and fees previously ordered by the court and must make compliance pursuant to this Order
by November 21, 2005 at 5:00 p.m.
Pursuant to Administrative Order of the Florida Supreme Court you are hereby notified of the following:
- All traffic citations issued in which the statutory thirty (30) days for election to either pay the fine,
attend Defensive Driving School or contest the citation by entering a plea of ‘not guilty’ has been granted an extension for making this
compliance until December 14, 2005. Failure to make compliance with this extended date will subject the individual named on the traffic
citation to suspension of their driver’s license and other action as allowed by law.
